Chiropractic X-ray Technician

-Continuing Education-

New CXT Rules Effective April 16, 2003
Rules change for CXT’s – The Board of Chiropractic Examiners will no longer be giving a state x-ray exam. Applicants for certification will have to pass the Core and Spine sections of the ARRT Limited Scope Examination for Radiology.

Rule Changes effecting both CXT’s and CTA’s – If you have staff in either CXT or CTA training and that training started after April 16, 2003 they (your staff) will still be able to accrue clinical training hours as their course work and exam are being completed. Once the clinical hours segment has been met, course work completed and examination passed your staff person will then make formal application for certification and/or licensure with the Board of Examiners. Remember, continuing education requirements are six (6) hours each calendar year.
